|Earning money with electric power? Earning lots of money with electric power? A very good idea! Should I use coal or oil to generate power in the old-fashioned way or will there be a shortage of those resources in the future? Will there be a future in burning garbage? Certainly nuclear power is very exciting and as long as the government will manage the nuclear waste there will be a lot of profit. Of course you can use more ecological friendly power and be independent of resources, but will such power plants be powerful enough for the customers in the future? Naturally you must watch your competitors to see what plants they build, which cities they have in their net, what resources they depend on and what new power plants they find interesting.|
The Benelux/Central Europe expansion includes two new maps for Power Grid. This is an expansion pack, so you will need the Power Grid game to play with it. As with the original, the board has a different map on each side: Benelux on one side and Central Europe on the other. Along with the maps are small rule changes to reflect the power culture in these two countries. As the Benelux countries support ecological power, players may have greater opportunities to acquire such power plants. Also, oil is more available and coal less available in these countries. As Poland has large coal supplies, coal will be much more plentiful then elsewhere in Central Europe. However, due to political stands taken by some countries, players may be limited in their access to nuclear power. The result is not just new maps, but new ways to play this great game!
The enclosed game boards for Benelux and Central Europe may only be played with Power Grid. They are not complete games onto themselves. See the Power Grid to get the game.
