I've always had a passion for the tactile and visual look of moisaic and although it seemed to be a massive undertaking-completing an entire full-size horse in broken bits of tile - I could not resist. The pieces were brought in by Star Banner staff-things from home. My main theme was providing a circular motion that both moved with and against the muscles and curvature of the horse. It was indeed a "Journey" in spirit, soul and body working on this project and I am thrilled to watch the faces of the people that come to touch and admire the completed work.
